I have never in my life, dealt with a loan company, (and Ive had plenty believe me) who seemed so AGAINST the consumer to make their money.

This is the ONLY creditor that would hold my checks for days before posting them to the account. It was due on the 15th, they would say they received it a day before. I had to start mailing it out 3 weeks ahead so they would post it in 2 weeks. This is FRAUD! Its not right, and they can get away with it because we have no way of checking the mail system.

THey simply say "we didnt get it in the mail until this day". BS! My mortgage check always posts 3-5 days after mailing it - EVERY TIME. Ocwen NEVER was able to make the 5 days. How can this be? Because if you have a $40,000 loan, the interest is INCREDIBLE each day you wait. This should be illegal, it just seems no way to prove it.

When I called to pay it off, my credit union was SHOCKED at how they treated them on the phone. My credit union was unable to get any payoff amount, they were unable to get them to help at all.

Our credit union said this was the only bank they had ever dealt with that seemed like they were dealing with street thugs.

I had to do all the work myself - and when I did I was shocked to find out they didn't want to help me either. The charges they make you pay just to get your payoff balance is ludicrous!!!!!!!!!!!!

It ended up costing me over $70 to get a payoff BALANCE!!! THen it took them a month to get it to me, thus, making more interest off me. It was all I could do -
I just wanted out of there - so it ended up costing us over $400 to just get the loan transferred after the interest and the delays. I encountered such rude people, I was forced to ask for a supervisor.

The initial clerk had actually laughed at me on the phone when I told her I was frustrated. She put me on hold, then disconnected me.

It was pure HORROR! PLEASE _ whoever reads this - its not just a few people that are pissed off and have trouble. Its just those of us who speak up and say something about it.

Yea, Im sure a few customers are satisfied and have no problem. Thats great - but its not the norm. Ive had 6 or 7 home mortgage companies and never had the problems I did here. Its much easier to not take the chance and go someplace else.

I had excellent credit and my interest rate was 13.5 percent and was charged over $3,000 fee to get the loan. This was through another company - they sold to Ocwen - so it wasn't even my choice to go to these idiots. I was stuck!
