I was forced to go to HUD in 1993 as I had lost my job and did not want to have my house foreclosed on. When HUD took over my mortgage I was no longer able to include my insurance in the monthly mortgage payment. As a result of Andrew the insurance I previously had went from $189.00 per year to over $375.00 per year. I had to pay it all at once and never had the money to do so, so I went without insurance. HUD eventually sold my note to OCWEN. They demanded insurance and I could not obtain it so they gave me forced fire only insurance. I have been charged over $450.00 per year for approximately 7 years now. I believe this to be a complete ripoff as I can get the best homeowners for what they charge for fire. I feel I should be included in this class action suite.
