Ocwen Federal Bank rip-off Orlando Florida
March of 2002 my husband finally finished with his Wage Earners. or so we thought. In June of 2002 we get a call from the "attorney" and I say this loosely, Jimmy McLeroy, who represented him in his Wager Earners. He told us he had gotten a letter from an Attorney here in Memphis stating we still owed Ocwen $15,000! How could that be, the Federal Bankruptcy Court told us we had paid all we owed.
So,our troubles with this company begun. We were willing to come to some agreement and wrote their attorney, Bruce L. Feldbaum here in Memphis. Needless to say, he quickly sent the propsal back to Ocwen attorney in Florida, J. Phillip Jones. We never heard another word regarding the proposal. We gave them a time frame in which to answer, in fact, we gave them two time frames to answer the proposal.
We continue to make payments without the use of a statement or a mortgage booklet. Our escrow account continues to grow and we can't get one thing from this company.
We contacted an attorney here in Memphis and his suggestion was to put EVERYTHING in writing. We have done as instructed, but we still are not getting anywhere with Ocwen. Our escrow account is getting larger without any help from this company.
I wrote HUD and FHA this weekend only to find out we are no longer covered by them. All we want to do is either refinance this loan or sell this house and get out of a neighborhood which has changed and not for the good!
I guess the only thing I know to do is go back to the attorney and see if he can help us. I am willing to do just about anything to get these people out of our life! They are dishonest and their business practices are underhanded!
All I can say after reading these post I am glad to know it isn't just us and that it is happening all over the country!
I guess I better get a bigger file box because from the looks of it I will be doing a lot of writing!

I think I am Losing it! Ocwen is unreal!

Here it is almost 2 months later and we are still playing with this refinancing! OMG Ocwen is so big the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing!
The refinancing company has approved us, but Ocwen refuses to send or give them the payout!
They are still saying we are in Wage Earners, but FINALLY sent us a payment statement....... with a note of over $3900 by May 16th!
The majority of it are charges with no dates or explaination of the charges! I can't believe this. We keep getting the same letter from the saying they are researching our inquires.... problem is it isn't us, but the wonderful folks who are trying to get this problem resolved!
I am trying very hard not to loose it, but each day it gets harder. I keep waiting for them to pull the foreclosure stunt! When we call their service center....we are transfered to someone, I am betting, lives in India and not here in the states! And wouldn't ya know it....the office is for those in bankruptcy! OMG This is maddening!
I hope next posting I can say we are rid of these fools, but I know in my heart we won't...they don't want to say they Screwed up and no one else!

We made the decision to try to refinance. We found someone here who has had dealing with "Ocwen", but we are having to prove that we have paid house notes for the last 12 months and that we have made every attempt to get "Ocwen" to provide us with something showing what are payment are suppose to be. I am now waiting for March's bank statement to come through to show we have been paying the mortgage. (I have a feeling that payment will not be deposited). With all the letters we have sent and the cancelled checks hopefully we will be rid of these fools. I am not holding my breath, but I say a prayer each night in hopes our lives will be our own and "Ocwen" will no longer be there. Bless each and everyone of you who continue to fight the good fight.
