Ocwen bought our mortguage from Delta Funding a year ago. We were not notified that our contract was for sale, or that it was for sale. We learned about it when Ocwen mailed us a bill. They honored Delta's contract for a little while, than the lies began.

In Dec. of 2001 we called about our acct. and were told that our new forebarance agreement will start in Jan.2002. They said that we were not due untill Jan. In Jan. we were told that we still owed for Dec. of 2001. We tried to pay them through western, they rejected the payment. We tried to work out another payment plan and we had to send them in 500.dollars. We did that and in April of 2002 they decided to make our monthly payments $551.00

We found out about the increase when we called them. So now we have to file bankruptcy to keep our home. We want our attorney to check this fraud out but he will not help us. We are being forced to file bankruptcy only because of Ocwen. There is a clause in our contract that states if our income didnot increase from what we faxed them then they cannot legally increase our payments each month. They went ahead and increased our payments anyhow. That is the only fact that our attorney is going to help us for. We need to stop these people.
