I have been with this company for approximently 5 years. In that time they have tried to foreclose on me at least 3 times. The last 2 times they have made up information and when confronted by legal sanction they backed off.

I have not been able to speak with anyone there about getting this resolved. I don't understand how a company can harass their clients and try to strong arm people into paying money that they legally do not owe. The court even agrees that it is not owed.

They have lied to their owe Attorneys about information and when my Attorney showed them proof of the lies. They just got new Lawyers. I will be fighting them again since they are trying once more to get money from me. I will be finding a mortgage company ASAP.

For anyone reading this,do not do business with this company. They will take your monthly payments and then try and sue you for more.

Raeann...you don't have to fight alone. Take the proof and join the class action suit(Hanson vs Ocwen). The information is on Rip off report. Take heart in knowing you are not alone, that there are more of us than there are of them.

To Steve...ex-employee. It is good to know you recognize Ocwens wrong doings. If you have the first hand information, why not "Do The Right Thing" and get the information to the Class action suit Hanson vs. Ocwen, the info is on rip off Report. For all the bad they have done, you could do a world of good.

#4UPDATE EX-employee responds

I was an employee of this company for approximately 1 1/2 years. Upon leaving, there was an attempt to defraud me of earned vacation time. I had to go to the company's office in person to resolve the matter (they did pay the vacation but witheld substantial portions of an earned bonus).

When I went to Ocwen's office I was forced to sit in the reception area for nearly an hour before anyone had time to see me. While there I was aghast at the scene I witnessed. A lady had come in with a check to pay in full her mortgage in response to a threatened foreclosure action. She repeatedly tried to find someone who would talk to her and take the payment. She had to use the reception phone to talk with people who did not have the courage to show their face. No one would take the payment, nor would they provide her with a payoff figure. The poor lady was in tears over the fact that her home was being threatened, she had scraped together the money to pay it off and could not get anyone to accept it or discuss her balance with her.

Great folks, huh?

Be prepared for Refinancing

We too are trying to get rid of this company, but they are not making it easy. The only thing we have going for us is we covered them with paperwork, but they must have thrown it all away.

We decided enough was enough and since then we have been sent a bill for charges that mount up over $3500 and been told we are still in Wage Earners!

We have sent them the dismissal of the Wage Eaners 11 times! We are now getting ready to send it again! We do have a company who has okay the refinancing of our home, but Ocwen refuses to give them the payoff.

When you finally find someone to refinance make sure you have all the copies of paperwork you need to prove you did everything possible to make this a working relationship. That has been our saving grace! I think of all the money we have spent in postage and realize it was well worth it! Good Luck and may God Bless!
