Ocwen bought my loan from another mortgage company in March of this year and already have problems.

They say that I owe them for the month of February when they didn't even have my loan in February.

I paid my previous mortgage company, have given proof of this and they still say that until they finish an investigation that has been going on for about 2 months now that their records will reflect that I am late on my payment and I will continue to get harassed by them and their law offices.

I have called their law offices and told them once I find a lawyer I will start looking for other consumers with this problem and go after them where it hurts (in their pockets).

They have been forwarned that if the harrassment does not stop I will press charges on that too.

They also did not send my first statement until 3/15, received it on 3/18 and they said I owed a late fee because I didnt send it in by the first of the month.

Not my fault. They dont know their butts from a hole in the wall!!!!!!!

SEVERAL MONTHS AGO I CONTACTED OCWEN WITH PROBLEMS OF ONE OF MY PAYMENTS. THEY SAID THEY RECOGNIZED THE PROBLEM AND THAT WITH THE PROOF OF A CASHED CHECK IT WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF. THEY SAID IT WAS TAKEN CARE OF, EVEN MY MONTHLY STATEMENTS SHOWED THAT IT WAS TAKEN CARE OF. THEN THE MONTH OF JUNE COMES AROUND AND BECAUSE OF MY 3 KIDS BIRTHDAY BEING IN THE SAME MONTH I GOT BEHIND. SO IN JUNE I OWED FOR JUNE, THEN JULY STATEMENT CAME OUT AND ALL OF A SUDDEN I OWE FOR MAY AND JUNE AND JULY. I CALLED ABOUT IT AND WAS TOLD THEY HAVE A CHECK FROM A PREVIOUS LOAN COMPANY THEY WILL BE APPLYING THE PAYMENT WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK TO CALL BACK IN 10 DAYS TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OKAY AND MAKE MY JUNE PAYMENT. I CALLED BACK AND THEY SAID THEY WERE IN ERROR. THEY DID NOT POST THE PAYMENT THEY HAD AND THEY SENT IT BACK TO THE COMPANY. HOW DO YOU GO FROM HAVING PAID FOR ONE MONTH TO THEM REVOKING THE PAYMENT? IS THAT ACTUALLY LEGAL. NOW I FIND OUT THEY ARE TRYING TO FIND OUT WHO WE ALL ARE SO THEY CAN PUNISH US MORE. I HAVE 3 SMALL CHILDREN TO THINK ABOUT, I CANT LET THEM KICK US OUT OF OUR HOME!!

In addition to all the hundreds of complaints we have received on this company in the form of Rip-off Reports, we also receive hundreds of e-mails daily asking for our help to fix this problem.



We have contacted Ocwen on many occasions to arrange a wholesale settlement and they have promised us numerous times that they would settle and they have reneged. They have also had their attorneys threaten us.



Having said that, they also try to post to each and every complaint with the following bogus message:

We know that they reportedly have no intention of resolving these matters. Victims identify no answer on that phone line for several minutes and in some cases almost an hour. Additionally, other victims post that they have received no response to their correspondence.



We cannot and as a matter of policy will not post these bogus memos at great expense to our time and resources.
