Very long story; will condense.
Mortgage secured 12/99 from Bank One. Some time later (2001?), Bank One sold it to Ocwen.Laid off in 10/01 due directly to 9/11. Ten months later, secured another job. Got very behind on payments.

Asked Ocwen to work with us on loan modification back in 01-02 timeframe. They said No. Have been trying to sell house for approx. last 18 months.

Andy Grillot (Broker) agreed with Ocwen to purchase the house for $205,000 a few months ago. Ocwen agreed to this price. Andy tried selling the house for $10,000 in order to make a profit. Unable to sell house.

In the meantime, we currently have a solid offer on the house for $215,000. Ocwen has so far turned the offer down. They had a BPO appraisal a week ago; haven't heard results yet.

We are very upside down on the house (approx $100,000). Ocwen has basically ruined us. Two years ago, we leased a run down farm house that would cost about half of what the house is costing in order to 'downscale' our lives. We can't even get a mortgage on this propery until the house sells. But Ocwen is holding us hostage.
