OCWEN FRAUD ALL BANK Litton, Moss MDL Court Hearing Kweku Hanson's Report West Palm Beach Florida
Dear Fellow Victims:
As many of you know, the Judicial Panel on MultiDistrict Litigation (MDL) met in Jacksonville, Florida on March 23, 2004 to decide what to do with the many class action lawsuits filed against Ocwen and/or Moss Codilis, mainly since December, 2003. I went to Jacksonville, Florida to see for myself the MDL process and to serve as a proxy for all the faceless victims, so the judges could see that this case is not about abstracts but real fless and blood family folk are being shamelessly exploited by a real Big Bad Wolf!
The MDL heard arguments from the different lawyers: lawyers arguing on behalf of sending all the Ocwen cases (including the Hanson v. Ocwen nationwide class action lawsuit being fought fiercely in Connecticut) to California got four minutes in which to make their case, and they pushed for the cases to go to San Francisco or Chicago. Lawyers for Moss Codilis got two minutes to make their case and they pushed for the cases (including Hanson v. Ocwen) to be moved to Chicago. Ocwen's lawyers [O'Melveny & Myers, out of D.C.] got three minutes and used that time to push for the many class actions to be sent to Chicago or someplace in Florida (hah!).
Some Chicago law firm which has sued Ocwen also asked during their two minutes of argument (naturally) that the Ocwen class action cases be combined in Chicago.
My lawyer, who has spent almost 21 months battling Ocwen, Moss Codilis and Litton week-in, week-out, and whose tenacity has resulted in much national media attention being focused on the Hanson v. Ocwen case in Connecticut (in support of which hundreds of you have sent in affidavits/sworn statements, and thousands of you have sent in emails) was given four minutes. He spent the four minutes wisely arguing for the Hanson case to be kept in Connecticut and for the newer cases to be transferred to Connecticut. He also made the MDL aware that hundreds, if not thousands of you Ocwen victims, have joined my fight to stop these Floridian pirates. That was the best four minutes of legal arguments I have ever witnessed in my fifteen years as a lawyer.
The MDL gave NO HINT WHATSOEVER of what it will do, but we will know in about 8 weeks the decision, which is FINAL. I shall not presume to predict what will happen, but my lawyer is prepared to continue to bring the fire to Ocwen, Moss and Litton in Chicago, San Francisco or even West Palm Beach. Meantime, Ocwen and the other defendants are asking the federal court in Connecticut to pause the Hanson case until the MDL rules (thus buying themselves another 8 weeks to avoid justice).
We are running a marathon to STOP, HALT, EXPOSE, UNMASK, the disgraceful thuggery which has cost all of us collectively MILLIONS of dollars. We are fighting to eradicate the epidemic of corporate greed which has cost so many of us our mental health and some of us our homes. We will not stop the fight, and as expensive and wearisome as this fight has been, we have not faltered. We will NOT falter, we CANNOT falter.
I salute all of you hurting Ocwen, Moss Codilis, and Litton victims out there. I thank those of you who have joined our cause. I especially thank those of you who post here at this site to keep everyone else abreast of what is still going on and also to encourage others who may think they are alone. The Marlenes, the Robins, the Bobs, the Brians, the Alices, the Anns, the Dianas, the Maureens, the Jenices, the Petes, the Jennifers, the . . . oh well, too numerous folk to acknowledge by name, but you know who you are, and that is all that counts.
WE ARE AN ARMY IN THE THOUSANDS, and we shall overcome! We've come this far by Faith, and I believe in a God who is supreme and more wonderful and powerful than Ocwen and its minions.
I especially continue to thank the Editor/Webmaster of this www.ripoffreport.com website for making available at no cost to us space to expose bad businesses and ripoff companies. Thank you, Ed. I also thank the few, the conscientious, the honest ex-workers and current employees of Ocwen who have come forth to
privately or publicly expose this criminal enterprise.
Watch this space everyday. I shall report the MDL's decision the same day it is reported to me by my lawyer. God Bless You.
