As the saying goes, a leopard never changes its spots.

Over the past couple weeks, Ocwen has been calling and alleging that my mother is 3 months behind on her mortgage payments, when she's not. And through one of Ocwen's reps, Renee Hensley, who was pretending she was a lawyer -- when it is a confirmed fact she is not -- threatened my mother with forclosure.

As is par for the course with Ocwen, last week, my mother was sent a dun letter and later a request for asset and income information from Ocwen's lackeys Moss, Codilis. In accordance with the provisions of the FDCPA, last week, my mother responded with a dispute letter to Moss, Codilis asking for any kind of proof they have that she is behind on her payments. No response yet and still waiting.

However, as should be expected by these dirtbags, tonight, my mother was served with foreclosure papers. The funny thing is though, there's no mention of Ocwen anywhere in papers. Instead, it's the Bank of New York and MetWest initiating the foreclosure proceeding. Further, there's no mention that servicing of my mother's mortgage was transferred by MetWest to Ocwen in May 2001 and no mention when of when the Bank of New York took over the Note. I wonder why? Maybe because this is part of the same deceptive and illegal pattern of scamming that Ocwen has perpetrated against every single one of its borrowers.

I plan to vigorously assist in her defense of this action and expose these jerks for the true fools they are for the courts of Florida. For right now, we can stall while we serve the answer and bring in Ocwen as a third-party defendant and serve Ocwen with a Third-Party Complaint and then slam Ocwen for fraud, deceptive lending practices, violations of FDCPA and FCRA, among other things. But I will not rest until each and every one of the jokers and con artists that run this company are arrested, the employees -- who know full well what they are doing is illegal -- are arrested and the attorneys participating in this scheme with this sham of a morgage lender are disbarred and jailed.

Maybe the other people Ocwen has foreclosed on have rolled over and acquiesced to their sceme, but they're picking on the wrong people now. If it's a fight they want, it's a fight they'll get.
