In February 2013, Ocwen took over for GMAC mortgage who file Bankruptcy. My mortgage was a 30 year fixed with a payment of $481.00 monthly since that time Ocwen has increased my mortgage to $983.00 stating that they are paying my insurance and started an escrow for taxes when I dont owe any taxes. They put insurance on my house for $2700 a year which is paid monthly but they continue to increase my mortgage. I have called them on numerous occassions and they only offered me to apply for an remodification.

I filed a compliant on April 9,2014 regarding my loan mod. application problems I was having with Ocwen. Today on April 10, 2014  I called in to follow up with the additional uploaded document's they requested which was credit report only to discover that they decided to set me up with a trail modification plan at $1920.01 higher than my payment of $1377.49. Again this tactic proves my point in my first compliant. Ocwen did not wait 24 hours, after informing me they denied my loan mod, with the states hard hit fund. Ocwen practices are dishonest and or dealing under handed tactics that need to be addressed by the federal government. The requirements for applying for a loan mod. is to lower your payment to make it reasonable to the borrower.  were the payment would not cause an hardship. In this adjustment there no way that a single person household of one can afford this new payment. So therefore I will not be able to even consider this higher than normal payment.
