Complaint Review: OCWEN Loan Servicing LLC

Although my husband and I have made our payments to OCWEN, they recently sent us a Fed Ex letter stating that the house was in foreclosure. They sent us a notice that to reinstate the mortgage we would have to pay $11283.87 - which is 1/4 of the principal left on the loan. They said if we did not pay it that they would auction off our house.

They are charging us for the following fees:
Late Charges: $446.40
Returned Check: $40.00
Property Inspection Fee: $31.50
Title Report Fee: $719.17
Property Valuation Expense: $930.00
Other FB/Repayment Agreement: $2,220.75
Foreclosure Cost: $$1,721.68
Bankrupcy Fee: $1,225.00
Bankrupcy Expense: $185.90
Bankrupcy Expense: $300.00
Attorney and Collection Fee: $380.00
Certified Mail Cost: $85.56
Total Amount Outstanding $8,286.07.

Then they said that we would have to pay an extra $2,000 to reinstate the mortgage. We have ALL of our payment history to OCWEN to prove that NO payments have been in default. This is a blatent attempt to extort money out of us.
