In short, Ocwen is one of the worst Loan Servicing Companies. I am not sure how they are still in business. Everything they do is wrong, even if their intentions are good.

I will give you an example. I had a loan with PMI{Private Mortgage Insurance}. For those of you who know, that insurance is useless, because it does not do anything for the borrower, and at the same time it is very expensive. I was paying almost $200 per month. Again, that is per month. When I got my loan, my LTV was more than 80%, thus I was forced to pay for it. However, I was told that if I prepay my loan to 80% I could cancel it at any time. Not only is this true, but it is also the law. Guess what happened when I tried to cancel it. First, they said they did not get a request from me, I sent another one. That game lasted for about 4 months, which equated to about $800. Finally, when they acknowledged the receipt, they flat out refused to cancel because they had to follow their own rules and policies, when the law clearly states that the borrower has the right to cancel it. Anyway, they did cancel it, but IT only cost me about $1000 to do so.

Moral of the story is that if anyone of you, or anyone you know has PMI you have the right to cancel it, even if your loan is with Ocwen. The only problem is - YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH OCWEN. GOOD LUCK!!!

Ocwen's Rain Of Terror May Soon Be Over!

#6Consumer Comment

To: Kweku, Robert, Robin, David, Marlene and all the other Ocwen victims.

I'm sure some of you have already seen this but for those who have not... The following posts have been made recently by an Ocwen insider on a Yahoo web site. This person has proved to be reliable with past posts, so I believe they have merit. We shall soon see.

There is also a contact number posted below for a Florida news reporter that would like to talk to other Ocwen insiders. (I haven't verified the info yet so you may want to do so before calling. (You can call me Mr. Paranoid, thanx to Ocwen). I would assume the reporter would like to talk with victims as well.

Here are the posts:

I worked very hard inside the company to get them to address these issues, (Complaints about Fraud, etc.) I went to people like Wilcox and Leist and none ever responded. What they did do was conduct witch hunts inside the company trying to find out who was sending info to people Ocwen was suing and who suing them.

It's clear that greed is the only factor motivating this company, and they are so arrogant that it's overwhelming. They knew they were going to lose the Davis case so they didn't even present a defense.

Their is another case that Ocwen is involved in Florida that I won't mention the names but Ocwen is going to get handed their heads like they never have before. And at least three current and former employees are going to see that justice is done, the extent of corruption Ocwen has tried to get away with is the most outrageous thing I ever heard off.

When the article prints I will make everyone aware, this is a major paper, not a dinky local, and National News will pick this up when it prints.

All the players are in place, the rules are set and the game is afoot. This is going to be the best show in town for the next two months. Standby all and I will have announcements in the near future that will blow everyone's minds.

Promise everyone a major nuke and its already being verified by several sources. I will be very happy to deliver a major X-Mas present to my favs at Ocwen.

If you know of any former employees have them contact Jim Freer at 954-949-7513, he's one of the reporters working the story that will be out by X-Mas.

Ocwen has been trying to squash it but it's too late.

End of Posts.

Good Luck to you all!

Julia,

If that's all they got, consider yourself very lucky. Please don't make the mistake of thinking that they are done with you. More than likely that $1,000 loss was just the beginning of the Ocwen Nightmare. BTW... have you checked your credit score lately?

Good Luck, I'm sure you'll need it!
