In december i ran into money problems and couldn't pay my house payment so i waited until i got my taxes back in feb. to catch it up.I put $1340 in the bank and had Ocwen speed pay it well we called them and they said yes we have it and every thing is fine. Two monthes later i get a forcloser letter saying they were going to forclose on my house. They said the bank refused payment. when i called the bank they said under no surcimstances did anyone refuse the payment.they said that ocwen never tried to pull the money out of the account now the $1340 has turned into over $3000 and now i got a letter from the court saying that my house is being forclosed on now ocwen wants me to sign a forbearance agreement with them and now my monthly payment will jump from $511 to almost $700 what can i do?

Tracy,

If you read through just a few of the other complaints filed at this site you will see that there are many others that have entered into forbearance agreements just to get ripped off even more and still lose their homes. First of all you need to know that you can't trust anything they say. The only thing they're interested in is stealing your home and/or your money. Mainly due to the limited time that you have, plus the fact that our government doesn't seem to care there are very few options when dealing with these fraudsters: Most people either sale their homes, or refinance, if Ocwen hasn't already totally destroyed their credit. Some people manage to file for bankruptcy, just as an attempt to save their home but it's certainly no guarantee at all. Above all? Read as much as you can on the subject.

Good Luck!
