Please count me in.

I used to have GMAC Mortgage for a rental property, then it switched. Ocwen has only had my account for a few months, but I am Soooooo over them.

I origanally puchased my duplex in Iowa for 97,500 and currnetly owe 68,000. That puts me at about 30% equity, but when asked to remove the PMI, they sent me letters that state i need to have 22% equity. I then proceeded to call them. I even did the math with them on the phone, I then said whats other excuse do you have? They then came back and said because its not owner occupied they have to collect the PMI. Sounds like B.S. to me.

I cant find anything on the internet that says if the property is not owner occupied the mortgage company is allowed to collect PMI forever.

Thats the first problem. Now they want to charge an extra 52 dollar per month for an escrow shortage. I again did the math.

My overall payments were 817.65 per month which included escrow and PMI. Again after doing the math, there is no shortage. I understand there needs to be some sort of reserve, but there already is.

It makes me so angry that I am being forced to refinance, just to hopefully get rid of them, but Im sure it is going to cost me just to do that.

I really believe what they are doing is illegal. If I am wrong, then so be it. I dont believe I am
