Complaint Review: OCWEN FEDERAL BANK FSB

OCWEN RIPOFF - I PAY DEPT SAYS IT NEEDS 30 DAYS TO RESEARCH A PAYMENT WHICH WAS DEPOSITED 60 DAYS AGO...

My loan was sold to OCWEN by OPTION ONE MORTGAGE. Option One advised me (via letter) any check received by December 26, 2001 would be forwarded to OCWEN.

OCWEN Customer Service agent advises that they are looking into the payment. After 14 days, my inquiry is then forwarded to their I-PAY department. Numerous emails and faxs are sent to OCWEN. I soon get notified that it will take them 30 MORE DAYS to find out what happened to my payment. This is unacceptable and I am emailing their IPAY Supervisor every day.

Finally, I'm emailed that OPTION ONE will forward my payment (which was cashed January 6, 2002) to OCWEN. Whether OCWEN had the money this entire time or OPTION ONE had the money, I couldn't tell you because nobody's letting me know what really happened.

Altogether, I spent at least one hour a day, writing emails and following up with OCWEN to settle this.

Guess what, it's still not settled because I'm still waiting to hear from OCWEN if they have payment.

If this is customer service, BEWARE! I strongly suggest to anyone, keep contacting them and don't let up on them! Remember, it's your hard earned money which they are playing with.

Here's a little "memory":

O is for the OBVIOUS idiots you have to work with at OCWEN.
C is for the COUNTLESS hours you spend with OCWEN.
W is for the WORK it takes dealing with OCWEN.
E is for getting EVEN with OCWEN.
N is for NEVER letting OCWEN think they've beaten you.

Aloha
