I attempted this remodification with them, and all that got remodified was and additional $8,000 on my loan and a foreclosure on my credit..


In May 2008,we applied for a remodification because we told they would reduce our interest rate from 9.47 to 6.25. I sent in all the appropriate paperwork immediately. 30 days later I called because I was concerned that they had not come back with an approval and I didn't want to be 30 days late. I was told from the loan modification Dept not to worry. They told me not to send a payment because it would change the modification amount, that my acct was noted it was in modification. I called everyday and was told that it was waiting for Mgmt approval.  I tried calling every number I could find for them and nothing.. Then I was served by the sheriff with a foreclosure. I was still told by Ocwen not to worry...  I contacted the NH Banking Commissioner for help..She had received a contact name for me to end this nightmare. Funny part was that I could e-mail him, but "Ocwen does not allow emails outside of the company".   Finally in August 2009, the banking commissioner contacted me that the modification was denied because we made to much money, but we were still in foreclosure because I had nothing in writing saying Ocwen told us not to make our payments during the modification process.


So this modification basically made Ocwen and extra $8000 and no way I can refinance my high interest rate because of the foreclosure.

Hello,
I found your information when searching unfair practices I feel Ocwen Loan Servicing is providing us.

I've learned my loan number by heart, as a result of my repeated calls on our supposed loan modification. I applied for help, before we were really in trouble financially. I collect SSI as a part of the household income, due to my disability. I was under review in Oct 2008 when my review file was lost, thus losing benefits for December & January.
I originally started the loan modification process with my previous lender, Saxon. The loan was transferred to Ocwen and I graciously resubmitted information. In the most recent problem I am having is this...I was notified that my file was received, went along with the process, complied then again, when information needed to be updated. I was told by one person everything was received, the following day, I was told information was missing? I had the girl who contacted me, to check again; she did and said that it was in fact received. Now, two days later, again I'm told information is missing and that I've been contacted. No, in fact, when I am contacted I am usually greeted by a voice mail recording telling me to hold for an important message, that's when the automated system hangs up on me. I've tried everything to get a "live" person on the phone and repeatedly find myself in an automated recording trap, to put it kindly. I've left more than enough messages to even count anymore. I've done survey after survey and stumbled upon your website in my desperate attempt to resolve this matter.
