Complaint Review: Offerpad

After receiving a offer and doing a virtual tour of my home, I was made a offer. While doing the tour on my 3 year old house, I pointed out the one small (around 1 square foot) area of sheetrock damage so they would know about it upfront.

After a few weeks of back and fourth they sent a inspector (who commented on how nice our home was). Then I received a addendum to drop there offer by $10,000.

This means there pitch to save you time and hassle on selling your house is false. I have wasted the past month, when I could have sold it on the market and now I have to pay a mortgage and rent for another mouth while I have to sell it on the open market.

Be aware there initial offer does not hold any weight, and they can stiff you when you have made plans to move and are in a hard position to say no. They do not tell you this up front, but be aware you can be lured in with a good enough offer and closing date to go with, but be ready for them to change it, since the "offer" does not mean anything real.
