OFFICE DEPOT Crappy Put Together Furniture Panama City Florida
Every now and then I forget why I don't shop at Office Depot and I end up getting a nasty reminder.
Did it again, bought a 4 shelf glass bookcase for $109.99. SKU863 024 Bookcase, Onxy.
Took it home and spent 3 hrs trying to put the d**n thing together! It has no holes where 3 should have been, one strut is misaligned by 1/8" and looks awful and there are 7 fewer bolts of one size than you need to secure the glass shelfs and there are a dozen too many of another sort.
Piece of crap!
Obviously it is going back Monday.

Instruction Booklet

Did the instruction booklet that told you how to assemble it not have some sort of part that said to try and call the manufacture for any broken/missing pieces? Any furniture I have ever bought has had this in the booklet. I looked up the Onyx Bookshelf and understand it is labeled as an Office Depot product, but I doubt they actually manufacture it.
I bought a desk once that needed to be assembled with some broken parts. I called the manufacturer's number that was in the booklet. The person took my information, desk model number, and the part numbers that I needed. I received the parts within the week and had my desk assembled.
