Officemax is so nasty cheating their customers on Thanksgiving day promotions!!! They used the hook of $5 Rebate on KHypermedia Brand Black Slim 100PK Jewel Case to cheat away $20 Rebate on KHypermedia Brand CDR 32x80Min 700MB 100Pk or 48x80Min 700MB 100Pk they offered at the same time.
I saw so many people in the same store with same items I got. No one was told about the trick they were playing and ripped off by the thief--Officemax.

Having worked at OfficeMax for over 2 years, I saw it all in regards to rebates. We always knew ahead of time what the rebates would be. We would report the issues to our District Managers before the rebates started, but they didn't care. Neither did corporate office.
We would got into ads with rebates we knew we didn't have or didn't have the quantity to support the ad. Ultimately it was the customer and the store staff that had to deal with the problems.
The customer wouldn't get their rebates and the employees would get the brunt of their frustration without any help from corporate office.
Usually we would just give them the rebate out of the register just so we could take care of them. Believe me, OfficeMax knows about these problems with rebates but never does anything to solve the problem.
