I received a call from 512-501-2350 stating that he was Officer Kevin Marshall with Hudson Law Firm.

Would like me to call him back regarding an important legal matter.

I do not have any legal matter that need to be taken care of.

They are calling my work phone number and harrassing me and co-workers.

Most likely a collection agency--you need to send a "limited cease and desist"

It is probably a debt collection company. No way to know for sure unless you answer at least one call and ask what it is pertaining to. Then tell them the below letter and state you will send the letter. It is best not to call them or even take that first call. Best to write them if you know address etc. But, I would answer if they call my work---ask what it is pertaining to--then tell them they are no longer allowed to call your place of employment.
I would highly suggest you get a tape recorder and attach to phone. (you always keep your proof--phone calls, letters, etc.)

You need to send the company a "debt validation" and "limited cease and desist" letter. Basically you send something like this:
This letter is being sent to you in response to a phone call (or notice) with you recently.

Be advised that this is not a refusal to pay, but a notice that your claim is disputed and validation is requested.
Under no circumstances is communication to occur via telephone, to include my place of employment. All communications shall be in writing and directed to the address of record as it appears on the preceding page.
Sincerely,
(Your Name--do not sign/only print)
Do not verify any personal info if and when you talk to them.

First move you should make is to go to a credit help type of site like creditboards.com/forums or similiar site and read up and ask questions.
Hope that helps you out some.
