This company is offering a free trial of beauty products for a small shipping and handling fee.  The ads show up on numerous websiites and promote creams to reduce aging and wrinkles.  They promote the products by using Ellen Degeneres and Dr. Oz as supposedly promoting the products.

The products are offered and ordered over a 3 computer screen process which first describes the results offered by using the creams, secondly when putting in your personal data ( name adress, etc) and thirdly by entering your credit card information.

Nowhere in the process is there any information about being charged an additional amount for the creams, nor any time limits or requirments for returning the products, nor any mention that the products will be sent every month thereafter with the additonal exorbitant charge.

The initial charges were $3-$4 per cream for shipping and handling.  After one month, I received a charge of $99 for one and $134 for the other cream! I did not notice the charges until after 30 days had elapsed.  As I bank on line I noted it very soon thereafter.  Had I not been banking online, I would have received a statement from my bank well after the allotted 30 day "trial".

Calling customer service only allowed me to cancel the recurring order but they refused to refund my money.  I was told that there was information during the ordering process that stated the products were only on trial and that if not cancelled within the 30 days, the larger amounts would be charged.  In reviewing the wesite, this paragraph was at the VERY end of the process, in much smaller and fainter print and not seen unless one scrolled down to the bottom of the order screen...something one would not do after the ordering process was complete! The customer service representive that I spoke to and asked to look at the actual ordering process even admitted that it looked "shady"  however, she had no authority to return my money.

This company has been doing this for a very long time.  I have reported them to my local district attorney's office so that they may pursue this legally  and prevent others from being scammed!
