I decided to purchase some furniture at a local furniture store in Atlanta. They use a company called Okinus Credit Solutions for their 90 days same as cash program. What I didn't know is that your leasing the furniture. So 90 days same as Cash is misleading to the consumers.

So they type up this contract and say they will draft a certain amount out of my account each month but to my suprise they never did the draft so I called to pay the furniture in full and this is what I found out.

Okinus Credit Solutions never saved my information in their system, they never paid the furniture store for my furniture and they told me I don't have a contract with them so to go to the store and pay them directly. Sounds good, yeah right! Thankfully I recorded the whole conversation so they can't deny anything they said.

Well a couple of hours later I received a call from a so-called supervisor with Okinus who claimed "I'm just trying to staighten this out", I told her there is nothing to staighten out. You guys messed up and now your trying to cover your tracks. I already spoke with and recorded the previous phone call and I'll be going directly to the furniture store to pay them. Her response " So ma'am you will not be needed our services"? My answer, no because we do not have a contract and the one you typed up is now null and void.

One week later a phone call from Okinus Credit Solutions. Ma'am I am calling to set up payment for your account you have with us. My response, Ma'am I don't have an account with your company and if you call me again you will hear from my lawyer.

One week later, I receive a letter in the mail signed by Lisa Caraway. The letter says New Contract with Okinus, Inc. Showing a due date that they will be drafting my account.Apparently this is a new 90 days same as Cash Contract. Well I spoke to my lawyer and we both laughed. In order to have a contract and a binding contract that is, you have to have two parties who have agreed on a contract. In order for it to be bindingeach party has to sign off on the contract.

SoLisa Caraway and Okinus Credit Solution...We do not have a contract and if you touch my bank account, you will be Sued! I'm waitingfor this draft to happen so we can take you to court.

Signingoff,

Mz.IgotaLawyer

What does your lawyer say about the original contract that you signed? Just because they didn't bill fast it doesn't me that contract is null and void.

Read everything before you sign anything. If you had you would have known it was a furniture rental instead of purchase.
