Complaint Review: Old And New Stone Masonry: Owner Brian Greco

Brian Greco, owner of Old and New Stone Masonry, had advertised his services in The Cincinnati Enquirer for masonry, stone and concrete work. I called him. He came out and showed me this portfolio of decent work he had done, but admitted to only doing stone work. But he had a guy who does concerete work that could fix my steps. His guy came out and gave me a price of $1,050. They did such a lousy job and way overcharged me. One week later, the concerete has chipped and cracked. I called him and asked him to come out, which he did, to inspect the job. He admitted the work was not good. He said had it been his house, he would be upset. After several weeks, and me pestering him with phone calls, he finally got the guy out to my house. This guy showed up with a little bucket or mortar, as if that was going to fix the job. I became upset and called Brian, who had promised to return with this guy to make sure he did the job right. When i asked why he was not there, he cussed and hung up on me. So his "partner" listened to what I wanted done. He said he didnt' have the tools with him and would return next week. He never showed. I have asked Brian several times for a receipt for the project. He never gave me one. I told him I wanted a refund of some sort. He never called me back again.
