Complaint Review: Old Dominion Freight Line

My quote was for 14 feet upon the arrival of the loading company they measured 14 feet from the back of the trailer out. The loading company then proceeded to place red duck tape down to mark the 14 feet so they knew to stay within the footage. Once they were finished with loading the final feet that I should have been charged was 13feet after the barrier went up. Upon reviewing my credit card bill I was advised that I used 18feet. I notified the company and was advised that the audit that they preformed themselves showed 18feet. At no time did the company measure in front of the client to confirm the feet, nor did the company offer a solution to the issue. It's the company"s word against yours. Fortunately I have picture to provide proof of the footage and upon review of the trailer they had a wooded board up against the back part of the trailer that is approximately 4feet out. Which is how they scam their clients out of money by placing barriers in the trailers to overcharge the customers. I would think twice about using this company .
