Olds.knows there is a problem with the brake rotors on their 99 Aleros.I had a customer relations person at there 800 no.tell me so unfortunately i didn't get her name.when i took it to the dealer he told me it was my fault the rotors were badhe said i needed new pads even thought the ones on the car had a 1000 miles left on them.My wife only put 25,000 miles on it in two years so the pads would be good for close to another year. They wanted 180 dollars to repair the rotors.Think how many people paid this. You can go to www.alldata.com and it shows all the things that might be wrong with the car.

My rotors were turned and replaced before I hit 20,000 miles. My rotors were replaced again shortly after the warranty expired at 36,000 miles. The Oldsmobile dealer in Hartville, Ohio, told me the rotors will continue to need replaced because it is an open hubcap and everytime they get wet the rotors warp. The Brake system on this car stinks and I will never buy another Oldsmobile product.
