Bought 2000 Silhouette Van in June 2000. Have had brakes adjusted 3 times and only 50,000 miles. Last May, 2008 I took it to Coulter Cadillac because brake pedal again went too far down and was AGAIN mushy. Service writer came back with $429 estimate which included flushing brake fluid, which I did not have them do. My bill was $312. and the brake pedal wasn't changed at ALL. They claimed to have cleaned the back brakes and put new shoes on front. When the Service Mgr., Mr. Shimp, was in I asked him to drive it. He stated that he wouldn't be afraid to drive it across country to Indy if he were me. It is still very much a concern as I am afraid they will not hold one of these days when they are needed.

There was also a need to replace both tie rods at 20,000. Other problems included airbag not functioning and seat belt (driver's side) had to be replaced, etc.

Would like to find a class action lawsuit if possible as I think I am driving an unsafe Van.
