Ole Ben Franklin Motors Was given very bad customer service and product... Ripoff Knoxville Tennessee
I was treated very badly while making a business transaction with this company.
I am a single, totally disabled female who was looking for a vehicle to suite needs that my current auto didn't meet.
I test drove the vehicle and noticed a noise that shouldn't be there. I asked what the noise was but never got a reply.
After getting the financing and taking the car, I had to bring it back the next day. For then 2 months the car was in the shop more than my car I had owned for 6 years.
I tried to get my old car back, they wouldn't give it back.
After having the car for about 2 weeks I got a letter from the company who had financed it saying they were not going to approve a loan from them.
So, a new company was gotten, with a much larger payment, that I couldn't afford so I'm now filing bankruptcy because of this. And, my car doesn't run because when Ole Ben Franklin put in the motor they didn't tighten up numerous bolts, so my started blew apart and now the transmission is blown, and the AC doesn't work.
Please never do bussines with this company.

I am an exemployee of the finance company some call "inhouse". When I began work it took about a week for me to realize I never wanted to ask a customer "so how do you like your vehicle?" There were always SO many issues. The 2nd finance company could have lowered your interest a bit (had they chosen to) Normally a lower interest isnt concidered for 1st loans through them. However it is concidered on occasion for a new customer who is having problems due to no fault of thier own. Sounds like this was your case.
