Complaint Review: Ole Ben Franklin Motors

Ole Ben Franklin Motors We purchased a 2006 Honda Element in December of 2012 because our othèr car was dying. A friend of ours said her fiancee was a sales rep at Ole Ben Fr@nklin and could get us a deal.  Knoxville, TN

WOW! What a joke. We wanted a 2 or 3 year old SUV, looked around and found a few ones we liked. Later we informed that our credit wasn't good enough for these, but they had a Honda we could get. We looked at it and weren't impressed. They told us this was we could get. Reluctantly, we agreed. We got our paperwork which included a clean CARFAX. A year later when we tried to trade it in, we found that after we purchased the car, someone f8led a claim on it to make it totaled. As you can guess, we were pissed. When we contacted them, all we got was, "We didn't do it?" No, "i'm sorry, no we will fix this, just get out". Well.....we bit our lip and took our worthle$ car home, still owing $8000 plus interest on the car. We are now here at the service department trying to get a warra ty repair taken cars of and, as you guessd, We have no appointment on record, "Who made your appointment? " etc. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.......don't come here. We have been lied to multiple times. I am sitting here with 3 people with similar experiences. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! 

 

This is the worst place to do business with. They care only about the original purchase.
