Sitting in CVS parking lot waiting on husband. Two men drive up and want to offer me surround speakers at a good price.

Florida plates 994-WXY. They said they were students, one studying mathematics and the other sociology (what a combo huh?)

Olin Ross speakers for $1899.00. They are willing to take $200.00. I ask them where they came from.

They tell me that they are on their way to setting up another system at a doctors office. Also, if they bring them back to their boss, he will take them and keep them for himself.

They would rather see "a normal person get a good deal on some speakers rather than see their a##_hole boss get another nice set of electronic equipment".

They had legit paperwork, invoices, and even showed me a magazine advertisement that showed these speakers' OR6050 at $1899.00.

I say no. Then they pull a good cop-bad cop. Dude gets in car, other gets out and asks if I would buy them for $200. They tell me its for their education. Unfortunately I fell for it. I get home and no manual, no receipt, no paperwork, when finally get system hooked up rattles when turned up only a few notches.

Bottom line: dont be scammed like I was. Soooo many people are barely making it then people like this come along without remorse and take advantage of nice folks. If its too good to be true it is. Never purchase without a receipt and manual and check the system out first.

This is the American way scam as many people as we can.   I cry for you

Look at the FACTS will you?

A pair of guys feeding you an unconfirmable story.

IN A PARKING LOT....

... OUT OF THE BACK OF A VEHICLE

Selling a "product" for $200 that's normally closer to TWO THOUSAND.

FOR CASH.

What the hell were you thinking and/or smoking to even consider falling for this, one of the OLDEST tricks in the book?

I cry for YOU, because you're the perfect example of the lack of intelligence, due diligence and just plain common sense that the average consumer has DEVOLVED to in just a few short decades.
