Olin Ross - Van Scam Edmonton Alberta
3 guys in a blue minivan came up to me in the parking lot of Canadian Tire and asked if I was interested in some cheap stereo equipment... they offered me this Olin Ross 5.1 Sound System. The price on the box (and I mean stamped on beside the barcode - very realistic) is $3995.00.
The one guy said he could give it to me for as low as $600.00. I ended up paying this jerk $320.00 - "beer money". The next day I was talking with one of my buddies at work about it and he said it was a scam... his friend had just been taking for a nice chunk of change as well.
When I checked the consumer report on line I realized this is a scam!!! Needless to say I feel very disapointed and just want to warn others.
