Olive Garden Shreveport Poor management communication skills toward customers (due to hair in my food) Shreveport Louisiana
I ate lunch there in Olive Garden Shreveport on July 5th 2014 at 1:30pm and found hair in my pasta. When the manager came to apologize, instead of just apologizing, she said "Nobody in the kitchen had hair that long" (and my hair was long). She should have apologized and move on but telling a customer discreetly that it is her fault was very unprofessional and rude. I felt violated and upset. Next time if she was goin to apologize, she should have just admitted the failt and not mention things that would offend anybody.

Its entirely possible that it was YOUR hair. If the manager tells you that no one in the kitchen has hair that long, well then you have to start looking for people with LONG HAIR!!!! As humans we shed HUNDREDS of hairs a week. SO its NOT beyond the scope of imagination that it was YOUR hair or a hair that was floating around. Does it change the fact that there is a hair in your food?? NOPE!!!! But it WOULD mean that its NOT the staffs fault. For all the manager knows YOU put the hair in your food to get out of paying for that food. A VERY common tactic used by consumers to skip out on their bill or to get that "free lunch". Im NOT saying that's what happened, I am saying that the manager has to look at the situation in that light. Perhaps if YOU had to deal with whiney and complainy ppl everyday YOU might have an idea of WHY the manager acted that way. While I find that disgusting, it is NOT a ripoff and YOU are just complaining online to get something for nothing. And not to be too much of an a*s here but WHY should they apologize to YOU if it was YOUR HAIR?? How were YOU violated?? Were you "upset" that the old "hair in the food" trick backfired?? The manager telling you that its YOUR HAIR is NOT unprofessional nor is it rude. Its JUST information. What YOU did with it is all on you.
