The training only last 2 days. I told Howard my boss that I didn't done Quickbooks before in my past work history of my work employment. I also was invited to work out with him and I am Smoker and I wasn't on the clock and he sprayed his Body Spary AXE on me and told me that he has lost a lot of his clients because of smoking cigerates. During the interview period on October 26, 2013 I wasnt' told about what my hour's were going to be, I wasn't also told when my day's off was going to be, I also wasn't told about smoking cigerates with this job, I was only told that I will get holidays off because the owners believe in family holidays. I felt like I wasn't trust worthy, That I told Howard what I did or what happened and he gave me a glare that he didn't trust me.
When I worked my shift I felt that I was the only employer actually working and doind my job. There was myself, my boss Howard,and another employee. Like they waited till I showed up. He exspected myself to learn the qickbooks in 2 days, close the Olympia Gym the right way, and do there Thrift Store bussiness as well as Responsibillities of the Gym. The thrift store was added to the gym. I would have to watch the gym and take care of the thrift store on my own with only 2 days of training. Howard also didn't tell me in the interview when he hired me for the position I wasn't sure when I was going to get paid. Like my pay-day was going to be. On a Tuesday nite I had put in a request for saturdays off and I showed up on Halloween to be expected to work that evening as his other employer came out and ask me for the key to the gym. I went in the gym and went straight up and talk to Howard if I still had my job. He said yes. And he told me to call him on Friday for my set hours and I did. i called and no set hours for myself. That Monday I had called him because fe told that the he didn't have time to do the set schedule to call his wife Selena and I wasn't going to do that because she wasn't my boss that hired me. The next day I went in there and i quite working for that company .
The day that I quit working for that company I ask him when I was going to get paid and Howard told me to come in on November 17,2013 so I did and still no check, Than Howard told me that UPS doesn't come to his store on Sundays that they don't deliverd on the weekends. And i told him that I am here for my check and I was told from Howard to come in On November 17,2013 to get my paycheck. He has threaten to call the cops on me, get a client member involved that was working out in the gym, and he was going to take my picture. Howard also told me to give him a call on Moday so that he will let me know if my check was there. Sunday on the same day that I went there on November 17,2013 He did call me and told me to pick up my check tomorrow after 5:30 p.m.. when i called him this morning on November 18,2013 Howard told me that I will have to talk to H.R. when coming to pick up my check. He also told me that He was recording our phone call this morning for the records. And Howard also told me to come in and get my pay check and leave I can't doing anything in the Gym and He also told me that I don't need to call there. I did tell Howard that I wasa going to get an attorney

Your report is quite confusing with misspelling and word used. There are a couple places that you used 'employer' instead of 'employee' and that could throw people off.
Anyway, it seems that there are more of the story going on than what you said on here because the whole picture does not make sense.
First, the employer or interviewer does NOT obligate to tell you your job description at the interview. If you want to know, ASK. If you want to know any other things related to the job you are applying, ASK. If you did not ask, your complaint about them not telling you is invalid.
Second, wouldn't the incident of being sprayed by AXE body spray plus being told about losing many clients give you a hint that you are NOT SUPPOSED TO smoke at least during the job? Also, doesn't it dawn on you that smoking & working out are somewhat oxymoron (bad for health v. good for health)?
Third, I cannot understand why they still hire you even though you have so many signs of unfit to the job. It could be from you not telling the whole story or from the company (Howard). I have no idea on this.
Fourth, you seem to be a bit stuck up about who your boss is. In a family business, you will never survive if you keep being who you are now because the structure of the business is completely different. This structure has advantages and disadvantages over a big company. Do you know what your boss wife, Selena, is doing in the company? Even though it may not directly related to your job, social skill could either enhance or kill your employment. You may need to keep that in mind from now on.
Fifth, when you talked about your payment check and UPS, this does not make sense at all. A small company needs to use a carrier, which is very expensive, to send out a payment check? Rediculeous, even with a big company. A check can be re-issued and the cost to do so is almost nothing. Why would a small company spend extra to send a few checks to different places every month (or bi-weekly)? This reason could be either an excuse from the company or you are missing something here.
Last, did you sign any employment contract? Usually, you will have to sign some paper when you are hired to do something for tax purposes (at least). If not, there is something fishy about it, and it would be a bit difficult to prove that you worked for the company (yes, you could witnesses). If so, you need to show the contract to your lawyer and ask for opinion before you move ahead on your case.
All in all, I hope you get the money you are supposed to get (but who knows what the whole story is).
