So i was recently discharged from bankrupcy and really needed a reliable form of transportation. So i proceeded to call a mailer i constantly received and set up an appointment with a "Sergio". Upon the arrival we were treated immediately like crap. Shoved us around, didnt care about our time and wouldnt take "no" for an answer.

After circling the lot for a vehicle we found exactly what we were waiting for. Once i test drove a couple of vehicles i immediately fell in love with this car. However- i could only test drive it in the lot becuase of a busted headlight and the car was filthy. I mentined that it was exactly what i was looking for and we starting running numbers because how bad can a busted headlight be? right?.......

So upon running numbers i told them the car wasnt going to be a huge use as i had another vehicle i was using and so they would NOT take no for an answer and would NOT let us leave. I went through about 5 different sales people and everyone gave me a huge story to why i need the freaking car. I thought to myself well usually car loans are not the healthiest of credit but id prefer to rebuild my credit with something i could use instead of credit cards so i finally agreed.

Everyones attitude suddently changed and they thought "we got 'em" so they immidately shoved me into a corner office with a clerk who knew how to rip people off. Sign here, sign there and boom. Done. When i walked outside the car was nice and clean now and supposedly the light was fixed becuase now it was on. Trusted them grabbed the keys and left and 10 minuets into my ride, the light goes out.

Through that experience i did not notice that the vehicle has a transmission issue and sold me the car for almost double the price and i got no dislosures. absolutely none. i went back to fix the headlight and they would not fix it becuase it was now a "electric issue" which needed a work order specifially on the bill of sale which took them 8 weeks to try and find and a week to fix.

dead end voiceboxes, worst customer service overall a horrid experience. 6 months later i still cannot plate the car becuase someone in the title department cant tie thier shoes. I need help out of this !!!!!!

Really Bad Judgment On So Many Levels

This is one of those unbelievable complaints that explains why ripoff businesses continue to exist.  Here is a person who walks into a business, gets treated like garbage the entire time there, and then decides, "gee I'll do business with them?"  You are the reason a business like this stays in business.

There is no such thing as "not taking no for an answer" OR the classic "would not let us leave".  I've been to places like this.  You just walk out.  When the 4th salesperson came after me while leaving, I told him to get lost.  The minute you get the feeling this is a hard sell, you leave.

Once you agreed to buy the car, you bought the car "as is".  There is no returning the car unless you're prepared to pay much more for repairs.

However, you bring up an interesting issue.  You don't even have clear title to the car, which means you may not be able to register the car.  Now, whether that's because the car was either totalled prior to the dealership, or something similar, you really have a problem.  I would speak with your bankruptcy attorney and see if the attorney can refer you to an attorney who can potentially void the sale.  That ought to wake a few people up either at the dealership, or the Motor Vehicle Department, and help you get to the bottom of what you just bought.

In the meanwhile, you might end up in bankruptcy again unless you start using your brain.  Good businesses treat their customers with respect and honesty.  Bad businesses don't.

You Rewarded Them for the Horrid Experience

You agreed to purchase a filthy vehicle with a busted headlight from a dealer that treated you like crap and shoved you around. That was your choice.

Your dissatisfaction with the price is a case of buyer’s remorse.

“would NOT let us leave”

Specifically, what did they do to stop you from leaving?

Upon the arrival we were treated immediately like crap. Shoved us around, didnt care about our time and wouldnt take "no" for an answer.
- So why didn't you leave?

I mentined that it was exactly what i was looking for and we starting running numbers because how bad can a busted headlight be? right?..
- So you are telling us your ideal car was was a dirty car with a busted headlight that you could only drive around the lot?  As for how bad can a busted headlight be...just how many decades of experience in Auto Repair led you to this conclusion?

So upon running numbers i told them the car wasnt going to be a huge use as i had another vehicle i was using and so they would NOT take no for an answer and would NOT let us leave
- Wait a minute your very first sentence in this report is how you really needed "reliable transportation". So which comment was the lie? As for them not allowing you to leave, unless you are going to accuse them of physically restraining you, threatning physical harm if you leave, or locking you in a room...you could have gotten up at any time and walked out.

I thought to myself well usually car loans are not the healthiest of credit but id prefer to rebuild my credit with something i could use instead of credit cards so i finally agreed.
- The the car is yours and this is nothing more than a case of buyer's remorse.

Enjoy your car.
