I was promised that this company has direct contacts with hiring managers and that would help me bypass HR. Which made me instantly chosse them and sign up. However now that I am in a phase where we drafted letters, they say that I will be making cold calls to hiring managers. Which I could have done all on my own. I have enough contacts to find hiring managers and make cold calls instead of paying enormous $2200 for bunch of non-impressive networking letters and average resume. I am unemployed and would really like to know if anyone knows how I can get my money back!

I am saddened to read this type scheme is still going on. I thought it died out years ago. For more information/background on how this works, do a google search on Bernard Haldane scam. It sounds just like it, based on what you described.

It's great that you posted this warning here at Ripoffreport as RoR is widely read and used as a consumer resource. I would also file a complaint with The Consumer Protection Division of your state's Attorney General's Office.  I would file a complaint with the FTC.  I would file a complaint with the BBB.  I would file a complaint withe the Business Consumer Alliance. I would contact my local news station, most have consumer reporters, and they can do an investigation and try to help get your money back.
