Complaint Review: On call Logistics

My name is Mike and I went to work for this company with the hopes of a new future, but however all I had recieive was the shaft. Richard had hired me to drive for him, and so I had to pay everything out of pocket just to get started. I had given up my place of living, sacrificed my truck just so that I could work for him. He sub contracted a guy by the name of randal, so instead of driving his vans, I was sent down to blue ridge Georgia just to pick up the van. Then I sat for 6 days at the local pilot truck stop before even gettting my first load. I had no compesation for the bus ticket, I was sleeping in an empty cargo van with no blanket, in the cold. I had to rely on family to constantly send money just so that i could have something to eat.  I had kept calling them askin for some load to get me out of there and when I finally had gotten a load it was from TN to grand rapids, MI now I did not have a gps unit in the van so my girlfriend had stayed up all night with me on mapquest guiding me to the location. The company was expecting me to deliver the load at 4 a.m. when they were late loading the van so I didn't get on the highway until about 10p.m. I had driven all night long and arrived at the drop off at about 11 the next morning. after I had gotten a liltle bit of sleep, they forced me to get back on the road with another load going from Grand Haven MI to Portland TN, I tried to explain to Richard that I'm not fully rested and he sent me out in grid lock rush hour traffic. Richard and his so called team are a bunch of scandalist.  I had gotten injured carrying on of the loads, because there was another cars that had slammed on the brakes in front of me so therefore I had to slam on mine and because they didn't secure the cargo a pallet of 1500 pounds of brass fitting went sliding from the back of the van and had hit me in the back. When I told Richard about this he was more concerned about the shipment the care of the drivers, Its almost like he's tryin to run a drug cartell rather then a expedite company. Richard had teminated me because I spoke the truth and told him that I was not going to volite any DOT laws and he didn't like that and so now I'm still waiting to get paid for the two loads I had put myself through....DO NOT WORK FOR THIS IDIOT HE WILL SCREW YOU OVER ROYALLY!!!
