I was job searching on Craigslist recently and found a posting for a catering company. They said they required a resume in some "executive format" and listed onebuckresume.com as a source that would do it for $1. I unfortunately used the service only to find out that the job posting was a scam. I understand using the service was my error. I am fine paying the $1 for my stupidity. My card was charged on 11/19/2012. I logged on today only to find out that my card was charged $5.88 from the same company on 11/26/2012. I find this funny because I haven't been back on the site since I used it the one time and also why 5.88 for a 1 dollar a resume service? Anyways, I've tried to call the posted number only to get a continuous busy signal. Please do not fall for this company's scam!!

Just Unlick the Distribution Checkbox to Not be Charged the Monthly Fee

#5Consumer Suggestion

I used One Buck Resume not too long ago when I needed an executive formatted resume too. When you are paying the $1.00, all you have to do is unclick the checkbox that says: "I would like to try OneBuckResume's resume distribution services (free for 7 days)" and you won't be charged the stupid $5.88 fee for the distributor. You need to pay attention to what is said on the billing page for a lot of sites these days. When I tried the site, I didn't expect much with it being 1 dollar and what not- but I actually wasn't disappointed with the finished resume. It looked pretty good.
