I received a charge of over $50 on my Bell South Bill for a long distant charge which I disputed immediately. The charge was removed. I received a bill yesterday (Aug 9,2005) for $46.26 from ONE CALL COMMUNICATION INC. indicating that even though Bell South removed the charge that I was still responsible.

The history at the bottom of the bill indicated that the charge originated from computer/data on 1/21/05 at 3:54pm.for 20 minutes. I contacted them immediately and told them this is a SCAM. I didn't make this charge, they couldn't even tell me the receiver of the transmition. We were traveling that day and noone has access to my computer, I have a password for privacy.

I asked the rep why would I use a secondary long distance company when my computer is connected to DSL through Bell South. She offered to discount the bill, but I told her that I was NOT going to pay any amount of the bill as this was a rip-off. She said she would make a note of the conversation.

I sent a letter with the same sentiments in the return payment envelope.
