Two guys approached me in a parking lot in Sterling off of Rt. 7, in front of Starbucks near Fairfax County Parkway. They said they had a couple of extra speakers, the kind that go in nightclubs. Pulled one of of the box and it looked legit. They showed me a card with the price of $1,499 per speaker. They asked for $500, I ended up paying $200 for two speakers. The vehicle they were driving in was a Black Cadillac Truck, with Colorado Plates. Two guys, one black haired with braided hair named "Vern" the other was a skinnier guy with red hair.

The speakers were Audiofile 583LR. I should have bolted when I saw they were made in China, but instead ended up with 400 watts of trash. PS, they said they were headed for Tyson's Corner and "Vern" gave me his "phone number" off half a business card with a web address on it. If any Law Enforcement would like more information, please contact me.

PS This has been a very good lesson, don't buy stuff from a guy off the street.
