Complaint Review: One Main Financial

One Main Financial Account Manager,Patty, and Office Managerno name given. Advised to pick up check today, brought ID, bank statement, and recent mortgage bill as requested, then held loan to ask more questions Fullerton California

One Main Financial  advised me my loan request is accepted, and to come by their office today and pick up check. Also bring latest bank statememt showing my Social Security deposit, my ID, and current bill from mortgage company. I presented each document but they held up loan check because they didn't like the way Bank of America dated their statements. Example: August 1, 2015 to August 31, 2015. Bank of America mails the statement  for August usually by end of first week of September.

I presented month of August statement because September statement has not yet been received by mail. They asked me, at my expense, to go to Bank of America and ask for a copy of September statement and maybe I could get a free copy.

The reason they wanted the September statement was to prove I get Social Security deposit every month.  I told them that Social Security is deposited every month once you file and receive it.  Then, they told me they would settle with me coming back Monday and just bring the Social Security benefit letter. I asked "Is there any thing else you might be forgeting i should bring with me?" Patty said no that would be all.  

Another employee, possibly the manager, got involved but didn't change any thing.  All they would say is it's their

requirement.

At no time did they admit they made a mistake or offer an apology. I've never experienced this kind of treatment with a business.
