One Marketing Group - Chip Dimon Executive Recruiter Scam Alert! Chip Dimon will steal your money under the lie he will get you a high paying Executive level position! ALL LIES Nashville Tennessee
Chip Dimon, CEO of One Marketing Group, LLC is a scam artist with a long history of ripping people off. His trail of lies currently has him posing as an Executive Recruiter in Nashville, TN that will place you within a very short time within a high paying position. He will not meet you in his "office" he prefers to meet in a public location like Panera Bread. He will refuse to meet you in his office. The reason? He doesn't have one. He rents an address and calls it his office.
Here's the scam:
1) You will meet with him in a Panera Bread where he will give you his bullshit story about how he went to law school for two years and decided he couldn't make enough money being an attorney. The truth is probably more like they threw him out! He will tell you he obtained the largest single account for Xerox with NASA and they screwed him out of his money so he quit that. Supposedly he is a Master PGA golfer. After giving you all this puffery buildup he will say something to the effect that with your credentials he will not have any problems placing you in a high paying position within a very short time. He will ask you what you think you're worth...he will promise to place you in an Executive position making anywhere from $150k to $210k annually plus bonuses, stock options, etc. He states he will be sending you a personal assessment that you need to fill out so his staff (which he doesn't have) can rewrite your dispicable resume. HE WILL LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE HIS SERVICES ARE PAID BY THE EMPLOYER - GET READY TO BE SHOCKED!
2) Chip will be in contact with you on a daily basis! You complete and return the survey. His "staff" rewrites your resume and he sets-up the next meeting. He will arrive at Panera Bread carrying an manila folder. In it he has your revised resume. You review it might impress you it migh not. If it does then he lays on you a bill that his fee for rewriting your resume is $740.00! His complete fee is in the neighborhood of $2,280.00. He expects to be paid right then and there. He hands you a "Personal Marketing Plan." This pile of bullshit is nothing more than what you can pull off the internet.
3) At this point Chip migh contact you once a week. He will tell you he has meetings set up to "present" your credentials to the large employers of the area. He will tell you he plans to meet with Bill G of Microsoft or Thomas P of Vanderbilt. He never tells you who he is actually meeting with "on your behalf." He will NEVER give you a written update on what his "meetings" have accomplished.
4) Eventually you will have to contact Chip if you are ever going to hear from him again. He will tell you he was thinking of you and that he has a meeting scheduled with his contact at Dell Computers to discuss your credentials. ALL BULLSHIT LIES!
5) Somewhere in the process he will email you a list of the employer his company is mailing your credential out to. He will give you a list of companies with the first name of someone who he supposedly knows.
6) YOU WILL NEVER GET A WRITTEN UP DATE ON WHO HE HAS TALKED TO OR WHAT HE HAS ACCOMPLISHED!
7) THIS GUY HAS A VERY LONG HISTORY OF SCAMS...GOING ALL THE WAY BACK TO CALIFORNIA! That's a very interesting research exercise when you find out about his history in California! Actually it is SHOCKING!
8) DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME WITH THIS SCAM ARTIST! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!
