One Source Truck Sales sold me a truck that was in their words "Road Ready".  On examination of the truck it apeared to be fine.  The first time the truck pulled an empty flatbed it broke down.  I had it repaired to get it home.  I had numerious items on the truck fixed (after all I did buy a used truck) but finally my mechanic decited that there was major mechanical problems that have been present for a long time but they were covered up and would only be see once the truck started pulling loads.

I notified the company I purchased the truck from.  They said that there was nothing they could do that they just repo the trucks for the bank and resell them, but they would contact the bank andsee what could be done.  In the mean time they tried to get me to sign on to lease another truck for them.  I did not.

I was told that the bank wanted to see the truck to make sure that I had not done anything to it (accident ect...) I brought them the truck and for 3 weeks could not get any information from them not even the location of my truck.  I finally went to the bank and sat in the lobby until someone came out to talk to me.

I told them that I didnt want to turn in the truck if it was going to be reported to the credit bureus as a "Repo".  They took the truck back and said that "TCB will not pursue you for the deficiency after the sale of the Freightliner".  I continued to recive notices of late payments (weeks after they had the truck back) so I contacted them and their responce back was "within the next reportingcycle, TCB will report your account to the credit bureau as a voluntary repossession".

They have their truck back, in better condition than when they sold it to me, they had no fees such as repo or towing, and they had collect $1000.00 in loan payments. So tell me how they can report it to the credit bureus as a loss?

These people must be stopped.  Please respond if you have had similar problems with this bank or any other people I worked with.  Good Luck and please Drive Safely!

I to bought a truck from bulldog and the remarks are so very true.Bulldog did not do all these work to the trucks as they claim. And yes it is a ripoff and a scam to sell this trucks with lies and to claim other wise,Yes bought my truck last Febuary and have put over  $18,000 into it yes $18,000 Why? Because I was told that they (bulldog ) would help if things were not right and they would go to bat with the bank over this,You know at first they did do something but after that it was send reciets and get reimursed for it .

That did not happen,It is great that there are companys who will help people with bad credit  because i don't care who you are if you not rich or have a good paying job it is hard in this world. And i can say i know someone who got a truck from them also and two months down the road the headcasket blew driver could'nt afford to fix it so bank said they were going to repo.... truck and trailer still sitting in Pennyslvannie waiting to be hold off its been six mths, I just think there should be laws against sales companies like this. But I have stuck it out and will do so because this is my life and carrer

It is absolutely amazing to me how people will fabricate their story and leave out details that ultimately make them look foolish to register a complaint. The truck in question was a Freightliner with 600k miles and looked in pretty good shape. Our shop spent over $10,000 reconditioning the truck. The customer came in and test drove the Truck, liked the truck and Tennessee Commerce bank financed the truck at a very fair price.

About two months later we received a call from the customer's wife complaining that they spent an all kinds of money on the truck since they had left our lot and the Truck was down with a blown engine. We had the Truck brought back to our shop and confirmed the engine was indeed in need of an overhaul. In addition we asked for any receipts they had to help reimburse them for any out of pocket expenses they had prior to the engine going down. I received about $200 worth of receipts from places like Napa on minor things that they most likely repaired themselves and $1,000 receipt for a new radiator. What was amusing was this receipt was written on a homemade receipt that you buy at Office Depot. No shop name, no labor rate, no parts cost, no sales tax, just a homemade receipt.

TN Commerce then had their engine rebuilt at Detroit Diesel with a two year engine warranty and agreed to refinance the truck with the overhaul built into the payment. Of course this did not satisfy the customer and TN Commerce took the truck back. Our business did everything we could do to help this customer although we felt strongly there were some things that they were telling us that were not true. TN Commerce did what they could do but nothing seemed to satisfy these people

They bought a used Truck, which they knew. They bought a repossessed Truck, which they knew and sometimes Trucks go down with things you could not expect. The only thing you can do is try to help the customer in every way possible. Contrary to what they reported we did just that.

One funny thing regarding this Truck. Two weeks after we placed the truck with someone else we had to replace the radiator, which by the way was the original factory radiator.
