I was notified during January of 2006 that the company was declared insolvant; none of my claims will be paid. I urge everywhere not to buy insurance from an internet company.
Apparently, this company did not register as an insurance company and, therefore, its claims will go unpaid. Whether or not refunds will be issued is a matter for the Hawaii Insurance Commissioner to decide based upon 1source's assets.

I also was a victim of the 1Source insolvency. Despite the fact that it had been over a year since I purchased my warranty, I filed a claim through my credit card company and won a credit for the amount I had originally spent for the warranty. 1Souce contested the chargeback but I provided documentation and won. The credit became permanent. I think the card company said it was classed as "service not provided". Hope this helps some of you.
