One Step Realty took advantage of our circumstances. The advertised "We Buy Houses" so we contacted them because we needed to sell our house quickly. My husband went on disability and we could no longer afford the house payments. Mike Anderson found a buyer and we signed a Land Contract with the potential buyer. The buyer, who was an employee of Mike Anderson by the name of Mike Mosher, moved into the house and lived there for 6 months without ever paying us a cent. We went to Mike Anderson about this problem, he had excuses and no resolutions.

We contacted Mike Mosher, he had a list of people he was having closings with in the next few weeks. We waited and still no money. We finally got him to move out and then we had a mess to clean up in the house and the yard. We found papers stating that he couldn't afford to own a house and Mike Anderson knew this. In the meantime, because we didn't have any payments coming in, there were no house payments going out, we lost our house to foreclosure.

We have told people to never go to them to buy or sell a house, they are crooked. We went there to try to get out of the contract, and Lisa Sones told us that we couldn't unless we signed a paper stating that we wouldn't put it up for sale for 1 year. By that time we would have lost it anyway. We didn't have anywhere to turn. We tried to get help from GRAR but they wouldn't do anything for us either.
