After hosting my website with OneWebHosting for almost 2 years, I became aware that not all e-mails I was sending through their SMTP e-mail server were being delivered. It looked as if the e-mails were successfully accepted by their SMTP server, but they would never be delivered and I would get no notice that they were not being delivered.

After contacting Tony Balanco (Co-Owner) at OneWebHosting.com, I was told repeatedly that there was no problem, yet my repeated tests resulted in the same, my e-mails were not being delivered.

After 4 days, I finally was able to convince OneWebHosting.com that the problem did really exist, and that it was with their outgoing mail server.

After over a week of testing, I decided to move my webhosting to another company, as OneWebHosting.com was not able to solve the problem.

When I went to move the webhosting and domain name to another webhosting provider, OneWebHosting.com appeared to be deliberately trying to derail my efforts to transfer the domain name, so that they could force me to pay for an additional 2 years domain name registration (my domain name was due to expire in less than a month). They told me that it was not possible to transfer my domain name in 12 days (I suceeded in doing it in 5 days) and when asked if there was any additional information I needed from them to transfer my domain, they told me that I needed nothing else from them, when in fact I did need them to provide me with an 8 digit code that I provide my new registrar.

I feel as if their service is unreliable, their troubleshooting skills seriously lacking (bordering on incompetent), and their business practices decietful. Once it was apparent to me that they were not able to solve the problem I was experiencing (or even acknowledge it existed), it seemed to me that they were out to try to milk me for any money they could. Fortunatly, I didn't spend another dime with them. Good riddance.
