Complaint Review: Online Tech Guys

Just had a phone call on my landline home number from an unavailable number.

The person on the phone was indian and spoke poor english.

He claimed he was calling on behalf of Microsoft and said this" hi sir you have some critical errors on your computer and at some point it will close down and you will loose the use of your PC. We are here to take control of your computer and repair the problem for you. Please firstly are you in front of your computer? (yes)

Good sir now press the windows key on your computer and then press the letter R at the same time. Now in the box please type event viewer. Now click on custom views and then on administrative events. Can you see all the errors sir? (yes) now close this box and go onto google and type team viewer and install it.

 At this point i stopped him and said i would not allow him to take over my PC when i had no idea who he was and it was rediculas of them to think i am that stupid to belive Microsoft would call me at home to tell me there was errors on my machine. He gave me the address and phone number i have given you and said i could check them out.

He said the company is online tech guys and are working on behalf of Microsoft to help all its windows customers.

I asked for his supervisor, his so called supervisor came on the phone and i said do you speak english? he said yes i sad good then understand this i am not going to let some random company claiming to be from Microsoft take over my pc so i coan be scammed, at this point he hung up.

 Since this i have gone onto this site and found they have been upto this fraud for some time trying to scam people out of money. www.whophonedme.co.uk/02081441094

 I very much hope this business is caught soon as they seam to be spreading fast and are out of control.
