ONLINESTOREBIZ.com, dropshiponauction.com, Dropshipdesign.com ripoff dishonest scam does not fullfill promises lies about contacting you Internet
I signed up for a dropship service for selling on EBAY through the ONLINESTOREBIZ.com site. I paid 79.99 for the service through PAYPAL. It was paid to DropShipDesign.com. I was then directed to the Dropshiponauction.com website. I have a working user id and password for the dropshiponauction site. I proceeded to choose two items to put up for auction on EBAY for seven days. I then sent an e-mail through the Dropshiponauction site "contact us" link with some questions about the products and the service itself. I received no reply.
After 2-3 days I sent another e-mail through the same link with some additional questions stating I had e-mailed them already with no response. Still no response. On the 27th of Sept. I went to the ONLINESTOREBIZ site and sent an e-mail to them trying to get some help and still haven't received a reply. The items that I put up for auction aren't even listed on their (either web site)sites any longer, so if someone were to win them in the auction the orders couldn't be filled. Thankfully I put one in with a reserve that has not yet been met so I'm holding my breath that it isn't met or I will have to go out and purchase the item myself and ship it. Many of the items which are supposed to be at wholesale prices are listed for less on EBAY than my price, which is one of the things I tried to contact them about.Items and prices cannot be viewed without signing up in order to make a comparison. I see organization is listed as verified by PayPal, which made it look (my incorrect assumption) like this was a credible site and business opportunity.
After contacting then two more times I did get a oneline response saying to email them before putting items on EBAY to make sure they had them.

Liston, I bought the webstore package, And have no regrets. Most people who buy these packages number one, never do any investigation about owning or operating an online store. They get a website and think magicaly people will come to there web site buy something and they will be rich for doing nothing and when it does'nt happen they screem I was ripped off! When you get a store from dropship did any of you actualy read any of their sugestions about what to do? Probably no you went on ebay and picked some of your highest paying products and tried to sell them without first reserching the product and seeing what it sells for on ebay, and some products will sell for more depending on how (what catagory)it's listed in. Even ebay ask you to do this. And yes some times their is a product that sells less than yours, this is becouse there are more than just one wholesaller out there, It does not mean you are being ripped off. and to the person who complained that they were not able to see the price of any of the products untill you bought the product, well that's not true go here to my resale page and look in the right hand coolum at the bottom, click on sample products, it takes you to a second page now again click on sample products and then you can see actual products that you will be selling.
and when you log in to your store how many of you actualy read the news page, it tells you if some line has been added or deleated, or you can go to your admin page and look under your inventorie and find what has been discontenuied. The fact that its no longer carrtied as one has said proff of scam, it is the opposit, it means they have SOLD OUT! And to the person who said they never expect you to sell anything, Whats wrong with you? If you buy and then deside you don't want it look you can cancel, ask paypal how many unresolved complaints they have on this. They want you to sell but they cant magicaly do it for you. It's a job and you have to treat it like one. And for comunication they have not once failed to respond within the 24 - 48 hours, and usaly within 24, but the first thing they ask you to do when you sign up is to add them to your list or whats called white list them. And yes they have answered my complaints and all my guestions.
And to the person who tried to connect them with Gambeling sites, Miss when you submit your site for link exchanges you can set permissions, the fact is that adult, gambeling and pharmacy sites are the majority of sites that are looking for links becouse of the feirce compition, and when they see new listed sites askig for exchanges you will get al;ot of them requesting links.Next time your on a link exchange site look and see how many adult sites including gambling sites there are. I have had no problems with this company they have not promissed anythig that they haven't kept, They give an oppertunity and just becouse a few people had no idea what they were doing, and never should have tried making money online without reserching HOW to do it didn't make any money, or what ever does not mean it's a rip off.
I working like heck to get my link popularity up and page rank, but it takes hours sitting here behind this screen, and i've made a little money, I'm not rich, Not yet but it's slowly picking up. But if I just sat here day after day only logging in to see if I made a sell I guess it would have been very depressing, Some of you who wrote these things have no idea what youryour realy talking about espesialy the one who said they are only interested in the enitial payment and dont expect you to make a sale, over 90% of people online do not make money, and many of these, the majority are not these ready made websites so befor you start your libal slander you suld look for the truth.

WHO CARES IF THEY ARE REAL

WHO CARES IF THEY ARE REAL OR NOT. HERE'S WHY.
I sent them an email because I am interested in their services. They have not replied yet, and it has been 24 hours. They do not have a phone number listed.
Regardless of whether they actually fulfill their orders or not, they suck. If they are not real, don't business with them. if they are real, they have horrendous business practices. Why bother either way?
I am looking for a supplier for an online business. If I can not look at pricing prior to "signing up", why would any business person in their right mind do it?
A supplier is an extention of your company. They should be eager to sell to you and help you service your customers.
You should be their most important contact - you are the gateway for them to sell their products. If they can't call you to sell you when they should be thinking about your relationship at a high level ($$$$ and many products sold), how can you expect them to contact you when you are having an issue with only ONE item that has not been attended to properly.
Two things to check for with suppliers:
1) How well do they communicate with you in trying to sell you and do they have a separate number set up for customer service.
2) Will they allow you to view pricing and products prior to you "signing up".
If they can do neither, stay away. If they can only do one, probably still want to stay away.

Response received about NOT owning the domain
#17Consumer Comment
Mon, March 20, 2006
I signed up for dropshipdesign last year. I too found if very difficult to get a response from them when I called or sent an email. I received nasty emails when I questioned the fact that all sellers websites looked a like and I would like to be able to add my flavor to the site.
As stated above by others, I became apprehensive when I never was able to speak with anyone and my phone messages were going unannounced. Thus, I chose NOT to use ANY OF THERE SERVICES. I have NEVER placed an order with them. However, from time to time, I review their products as well as netdropshippers. Most sites seem to have the same designs and sell the exact same items. I felt that these were the middle man.
Well, my year is approaching and I am very interested in having my OWN domain name for it has my last name attached to it. I sent an email that was eventually answered about 7 days later asking why do they sign up domain names under their company instead of under my company (I do have a legitimate company with a resale license) information as I had provided upon sign up.
Here is the response, it appears that you may be able to get your domain name:
QUOTE: "We are sorry for the delay, but sometimes emails don't reach their destination or are deleted by mistake.
Right now, we have several templated to choose from in the control panel and we are adding new ones regularly. You can also use the "Content" page under the "Customize" tab of your control panel to add banner or other things to personnalize your store. We are planning on adding a functionality that will give you more control over the look of your website, but we don't have an ETA yet on this.
The domain name is registered under our corporate account, that's how we can offer it for free with your subscription. If you want it under your name, we suggest that you initiate a domain name transfer from your favorite registrar. Be aware, though, that this could result in some down time for your store since you will have to make some changes to the domain name nameservers after the transfer is completed. Also, if you decide to go through with a domain name transfer, please let us know right after you initiate it, so we can unlock your domain name and accept the transfer.
Please make sure to keep this entire thread in your reply since we answer hundreds of emails every day and there is no way we can remember everybody and all their issues.
Regards,
Sales Team "
I still choose not to use this group, doba (which I was a member for a month) or netdropshipper. However, I do hope this response helps someone else.

#17REBUTTAL Owner of company

I am a DropShipDesign.com web site owner and customer with the eBay wizard program at http://generaloutlet.timeyoushop.com since October of 2005. I admit that it is very difficult to deal with DSD sometimes and I did go through a shady beginning deal, where I lost one web site which is now registered to Wild West through DropShipDesign.com according to GoDaddy.com and DirectNic. When I put it on LinkMarket.net, the gambling sites swamped me with requests for link exchanges, so I feel that DropShipDesign.com has a problem with these gamblers, whether it is voluntary or not. I don't like to accuse 'people' when we try to deter crimes such as we have seen in today's world wide web, rather the concepts, such as our War on Terrorism which started back in 2001, where anyone could be guilty, but we are trying to stop the terrorism, not participate in it. After losing my first site with DSD, finding that eBay and PayPal had intererence, again, whether it was from within or without is not my issue, only that the payment was confused to the point that on the second try I did not use PayPal and got my site successfully. I have normal business problems with DropShipping orders, but I have had a good deal of success on eBay and have a perfect feedback score to show for it.
In conclusion, I'd like to add that in my email experiences with the staff at DropShipDesign.com, I have found the cross-section of personalities that is usual in large groups. It seems that when I complain about a grouchy man, the mail goes to a little old lady who tells me BTW: threatening people is not going to accomplish anything.

Please read my ripoff report for the full story (Teresa - Easley, SC).
I have a box sitting here on my desk. It contains an MP3 player that I sold to a customer through ebay from dropshipdesign.com. It arrived broken and not the right color. She shipped it back for a replacement. Instead, they gave me a refund so I re-ordered a new one for her but had it shipped to my home to inspect first.
I finally got it the other day. Inside, I found the 'broken' mp3 player (still broken) along with the letter from my customer AND a letter from another customer that had ALSO received the same broken mp3 player after my customer had sent it back. The 'other' customer sent it back with HER letter attached to my customers' letter. They shipped it to me without ever opening the box. It is in a box that says 'Refurbished'. They NEVER fixed this thing and they keep reselling it over and over again to unsuspecting customers.
I have talked with the other customer AND with my customer. I have also contacted the company that the other customer bought it from (on ebay). I am awaiting their reply.
I am gathering up as much information as I can about this so called Dropshipdesign.com company. I am taking all of the proof and emails and this mp3 player to the Feds. I am pressing charges and I WILL get to the bottom of this.
The 'other' customer has YET to receive a refund on this mp3 player. When she shipped it back, she did so with a return receipt request. She hasnt received that back yet. She is going to the post office tomorrow (Monday, Jan 9th, 2005). She is also filing charges. Hopefully with everyone's help, we will be able to bring these people down AND get our money back!
I can be reached at Teresa AT Directsolutions dot us.

Dropshipdesign.com Scam ..I too was screwed over by this company.

It was one of those really long nights and I didn't even think about researching such a cheaply made site. The things they said made it sound so good to me since I was getting tired and impatient about searching for some products to sell.
I was checking out this post and some of this information is really helping me out. When I bought their package I applied for a new domain name. Shouldn't I be the owner of the domain!?!?!?
Not only do we supply these scammers money but we are buying them the ownership of some really good domain names that they will make even more profit off of in the future. I'm not saying mine is spectacular or anything, but you get the point.

Dropship is a a good business model...but
#17Consumer Suggestion
Tue, March 22, 2005
I know nothing about ONLINESTOREBIZ.com, dropshiponauction.com, Dropshipdesign.com in fact I was doing a little research on them as I was thinking of using their service to expand my business.
Some would have you believe drop shippers are rip off artists. I am sure there are some that are, but in my experience the ones I use are far from that. They are B&M (Brick and mortar) businesses trying to expand their markets. I run a very successful website that is 100% drop ship. My orders come in, payment authorization is made via CC and I place my order. Once notification of shipment is made I charge the buyers card.
Ebay has no rules against drop shipping, but they do have rules about non-shipping of product, these rules apply to all sellers. I also sell on eBay (very little, but it is good advertising) and every sale has been a drop ship.
Using drop ship as a business model can be very profitable, but you have to do your due-diligence. Always make sure the drop shipper has plenty of inventory on an item if you are going to use eBay as a sells vehicle. Try to limit your auctions to five days on low priced or commodity items this way there is a good chance the item will be in stock once your item sells. Some drop shippers specialize in eBay and will hold an item while your auction is ongoing.
When looking for a drop shipper, sign up and place a small order to see how the process works before doing anything else.
Some Drop shippers charge a small fee to join their drop shipping program. In some cases $50.00 or less, this is to weed out the tire kickers, it does cost money to set up your account.
Be mindful of any drop ship packaging fees when pricing your auction.
In any business and especially in the drop ship world, ask questions of the company before doing business with them. If your only contact is by e-mail, I would not deal with them. If you have an issue with your order, call the drop shipper, not email them.
If you think you get a lot of spam think how much e-mail they get with yours stuck in there somewhere. I get about 100 spam messages a day.
Oh one other thing, if you get notification of shipment with a tracking number from the drop shipper, it has shipped. How long do you think it would be before the feds stepped in if they were shipping empty boxes? Come on Paul, stop being so cynical, not all drop shippers are rip-offs

Mark

Speaking my mind I am an OWNER of a Drop-ship-design outlet website
#17Consumer Suggestion
Thu, March 10, 2005
Let me begin by saying that I am an OWNER of a Drop-ship-design outlet website and by what I have read from the first post about the company that I signed on with sounded as if the person may have been at this ebay selling for maybe 2 weeks if not less.
The way it works is fundamental, you pick an Item, DO SOME PRICE POINT RESEARCH, make an auction ad, Place the Ad on ebay or Overstock auctions OR where ever you want. When the Item sells, the bidder pays me through pay pal. When I have a confirmation from my pay pal account that the bidder has paid for the item I then place the order. It is stated to all the user of my website and on my auctions that this process can be TIME Consuming due to some factors such as;
Bidders pay-pal account may have to draw out of a checking account rather the bidder having money all ready set into the pay-pal account, this could cost two to three days before I get a confirmation of payment, resulting in a delay of the shipment.
The moment I receive confirmation of the payment the order is placed with dropshipdesign, and again another time consuming operation begins, the order is sent to the warehouse and is packaged, this may take two days depending on the time that the order was sent by me at the most three days. At the latest on the third day I receive from UPS ground a tracking number for an Item that they haven't even pick up yet, but are on the way to get it. Doing the math at the most with a delayed payment the packaging could take up to seven days, again a lot of this could be avoid if the bidders would store their auction monies in their pay-pal account.
Along with just being a member or owner of a dropshipdesign website there are some plus sides to it, there are news letters explaining the in's and out's basically the how to do its info letters and in them comes ideas on other things to do also. I would say maybe six months went by before I changed my e-mail address to a new account with yahoo, when I found these newsletters. Is it DSD fault my Spam guard was dumping them in my old e-mail account, no it was mine.
As far as the polices of this web site, I see some violations in this link many with assumptions, one post calls it a scam with no background information what so ever, kind of reminds me of a courthouse hanging in an old movie.
I have sent a link to the CEO of dropshipdesign to bring this to his attention, yes I have his e-mail address and I also have e-mail address to my sales team who have no problems with helping me with problems I have, will they hold my hand and tell me to decide what I should do with my website NO, but they will advisee me about decision that I do make, I find Tim Knox's advice very helpful.
Many who have signed on with DSD have problems, believe me I know because when someone buys a package I send them email letting them know I have been where they are at and I explain how to get started and to never have the to do ebay or die idea, or to have the idea that they have arrived on easy street and it is time to sit back and rake in the cash. Anything and everything takes work, be it making ads for ebay or researching price points, you will have to apply something to make it with ANY WEBSITE on the Internet, but many fail to understand this, but as you may see your still reading this, have I made my point yet?
I do very little on ebay, because I like seeing the buyers face to face, I well stock orders for flea markets, and I will sell at a higher price point than what I would on ebay any day, but again that is my choice, for e-bay is ONE way to sell the 7,000 plus Items that I sell.
Regards,
Paul

#17Consumer Suggestion

You seem to think these frauds are running a real company. That you will really make any kind of money from this drop ship nonsense.
Nothing could be further from the truth. It was a scam from the very beginning. At $80 or $100 from each sucker, times 100 people a week, one or two people can make 8 to 10 grand. That's not bad. Especially when there is no actual product or sales to worry about.
Why do you think the prices are higher than similar items that are already on ebay? That should tell you something, right?
You see, they don't want you to actually sell anything. Once you send in your money, they are done with you. Most people figure out they've been conned before they actually start any auctions.
But, if you want to run the whole course, give it a shot. Get an ebay account. Place your auction for items that you don't already own. BTW, ebay forbids that. Here's why.
Let's suppose the auction runs to its conclusion. The buyer sends you payment in full. You promptly send payment to the frauds. They have a good laugh at your expense. Naturally, nothing is ever sent out.
Why the hell would they send anything? It's you who owe the buyer, not them.
The frauds will send an email telling you that the item was shipped. You pass that along to the buyer.
A week later, the buyer messages back claiming to have received nothing. At this point, the frauds will ignore you.
Here's where you stand then. You don't have an item to send. You don't have the money that the buyer sent you. And, both ebay and paypal are looking at you as a fraud. Even if you explain the whole deal, you'll look like a complete idiot.
Ebay will kick you the hell out. First, they'll deduct the payment from your bank, to refund the buyer.
It ends up as fraud squared. Or even cubed. The frauds are laughing. You are crying. Ebay is pissed. The buyer is pissed. The cops may even come knocking at your door. You have lost several hundred dollars.
What part of this sounds like a good deal?
In the future, do yourself a favor. Before you buy into any of this nonsense, come here and file a report. Request that you want someone to explain how the fraud works. That way, you'll find out the details before you lose any money.

Hi Linda! About a month ago I signed up for the same dropship ebay package you did, except it cost me $99 instead of $79....they raised it, I guess?
I got really worried when I saw your report, as I have just had two auctions end with winning bidders for items I ordered from dropshiponauction.com.
I immediately went back to the emails I have that confirmed my two orders...entered the order numbers into the "track order" or whatever it's called section of the site.
The details of each order came up when I submitted the order numbers, along with their respective tracking numbers.
When I clicked on each tracking number, it took me to the UPS website, and both my tracking numbers reported the items to be in transit and due to arrive this Friday.
I will watch out for confirmation from my buyers that they received their items...I'll update you, er, or if you want to guarantee that I'll remember, leave your contact info or email me at dnomin8r65 NO SPAM AT comcast DOT net.
Good luck, and wish me luck as well'.'
