onlinetechguys ,martin, charles Phone call stating from MicroSoft, said my computer had been hacked.(They) MicroSoft would correct. New York & Dubi New York
June 20,2013. Recd a call from "Microsoft" stating my computer had been hacked. Caller spoke with East Indian accent. Being an unsuspecting 'mark', I listened to what he had to say. Very convincing. Said his name was Martin. Another guy came on 'Charles' claiming to be tech guy. asked if my computer was on. I said yes.
These scum bags now had all my info., After adding what I came to know as free apps., they requested 149.95 for life time service. Gave them my Visa info. I have cancelled that card, but amount has already been posted to my bank account.
Then a woman came on the line to say they were not Microsoft . I was so stunned. When I went to my bank acct online, amt was already posted.
I intend to follow this to the very end. I have only just begun.
