OnRebate.com AKA TigerDirect.com Dishonest business practices, fraud. 16 weeks later still nothing Miami Florida

Looking at the history of this company's reports on here I am not surprised I am here myself writing this. Almost 16 weeks ago I filed for my rebate and it was accepted (I couldn't believe this, it was too good to be true I thought).

Well, I selected PayPal to recieve my rebates (There was two rebates, one for a computer case and one for a power supply) and waited 4 weeks (even though the site said expect payment in 1-3 weeks). I called the company and they gave me some rediculous crap about the wrong currency was chosen, they said it was Canadian. The gentleman on the phone said dont worry it will be resubmitted and processed on time (on time meaning waiting another two weeks according to him). Also I told him that I wanted my money to be sent to the Red Cross instead.

Here I am, 16 weeks later with nothing, site says payment has not been processed, and they are not responding to my e-mails. Another thing is, this company and TigerDirect (where I bought my products) are the same company, I think it has been stated before here though. It is rediculous to offer rebates through your own business and make the customer go through hoops to verify that they bought the product, HELLO?? I just bought it from you!
