Onrebate.com - FRY's Electronics Rebate Ripoff SCAM!! Claiming They Have Not Received A Copy Of Original Receipt When One Has Been Sent!! Miami Florida
Shame on Onrebate.com and FRY's(for doing business with these scammers)!!! They are a HUGE Ripoff!! I sent OnRebate every form Fry's gave me when I purchased my computer case, the forms they requested (totally filled out) and the upc from the box, PLUS a copy of the original RECEIPT. Here is their emails & reponses:

Regarding the above tracking number, I recieved the following update " The Rebate was denied Insufficient documentation 2/17/2006 9:27:08 AM
I bought this case at Fry's and followed the directions for my rebate. I did send you a copy of the original reciept. I can fax or send a copy again. If you do not honor my rebate I would like you to send me back the UPC code and rebate form that I sent so I can contact the management of both FRY's, the manufacturer, and the CA State Attorney Generals Office.

I have offered to resend any document they need but they have ignored me and just send the same denial over and over!!! I will contact everyone I can including the Attorney Generals office. This is my first stop and I see I am not alone with this complaint!!!

After posting here, I went to Ultra Products Forum page and told my story. I was contacted the next business day by one of their guys Mike. He contacted Onrebate.com on my behalf and they changed their story from "not receiving" the orginal reciept to "no date" on original receipt. I faxed the original to Mike(great guy) who then forwarded it to onRebate.com and bada boom bada bing, the next thing I know, I get an email from onRebate.com that my status is changed and my check will be coming soon. I'll keep y'all posted!

Dear Customer,
Your rebate was denied because you did not submit the original receipt. The only things that were submitted with your submission is the rebate receipt (which counts as a rebate form) and the UPC code.
If you read the Terms on the Rebate Receipt you will see that they go as follows:
Proof of purchase requirements:
1) A clean and clear copy of the dated Fry's Electronics INVOICE that is received at the point of purchase.
2) This completed coupon or copy of this coupon (referring to the rebate receipt).
3) You must include the original UPC code that came with the package.
If you have a copy of the original receipt which includes the total price of the item purchase as well as the INVOICE number on the top please send an email to nadina.urdanetaATonrebate.com and I will gladly instruct you on how to resumbit for this rebate.
