I had tried to forget my experience with OnRebate.com but even though they never paid my $70 rebate they still have the nerve to send me Spam email. And typical for a deceitful business, if you click their convenient "unsubscribe" button your email to them is "undeliverable". I reported them to the Federal trade commission for that and recommend you do the same when you can't unsubscribe from their spam.

My rebate experience with them was pretty much the same. I filled out the multitude of boxes and was instructed to click a button to go to the my rebate page but, much like their "unsubscribe" link the page didn't exist. I tried several times with no success.

I emailed the company and they just told me to try again (more box filling-out, more non-existent pages). I emailed them again and they never responded.

I realize Tiger Direct says they will honor all rebates if there is a problem, which is a noble thought, but they need to realize that from my standpoint I may not WANT to have to make copies of all materials, send certified mail, file complaints, wait for resolutions and excuses, and so on. I'll just go to Sams Club where they don't hassle the customer and buy my computer supplies there or somewhere else that has more respect for the customer than to put them through that.

By the way, if you want to report a business to the Federal Trade Commission for deceptive trade practices their address is www.ftc.gov. To report spam that doesn't comply with the Canned Spam Act (e.g. OnRebate.com's emails that you can't unsubscribe from) forward the email to spam@uce.gov.
